  • Hardwood Refinishing

We can refinish solid wood, engineered wood, and parquet floors, but a new coat of polyurethane may not stick to your existing finish.

If your floor was finished before the 1970s, it’s probably wax, old-fashioned varnish or shellac and will have real issues trying to get any new finish to adhere properly.  Polyurethane might work, but wears out rather quickly.  It’s best to sand them off and start over.

Deep scratches can’t be fully eliminated, but we can make them a lot less noticeable with a few techniques ranging from wood filler staining to mineral spirits and even hand detailed blending artistry.
